Creative activity is an integral part and the essence of practical teaching at our faculty, across all study programmes and fields. In addition to regular teaching activities and traditional projects with a long history, such as the SETKÁNÍ/ENCOUNTER festival or the International Theatre Conference, the faculty also supports independent creative activities of both the students and educators, not only in the field of art but also in research and publishing activities. For these activities, the academy provides three own support programmes (Research Development Fund, Education and Arts Development Fund and Specific Research) and it provides facilities for obtaining funding from other available sources. Currently, the faculty is working intensively to create the Josef K. Endowment Fund to support recent graduates in their transition to the professional environment.
