Teaching in this department is designed to lead students through a process of self-discipline that will enable them to remove obstacles to natural expressiveness, to the actor’s interpretation of singing and dancing with an emphasis on the conscious creation of dramatic character within a musical work. Acting is based on the search for and discovery of one’s own identity and, together with the development of fantasy and the mastering of various acting techniques, it turns into conscious acting. This is taught on a scale comparable to dramatic acting departments. A great emphasis is placed on the quality of verbal expression, both in terms of technical and interpretive skills, so that graduates have the opportunity to work in other acting disciplines (radio, dubbing).
Students are given the opportunity to acquire maximum theoretical and practical knowledge and expertise to make their employability in practice as wide as possible.
